The belief behind the MRN Grant

Why the grant exists

Marcos R. Nuqui has served as Barangay Kapitan of Tinajero, Bacolor, Pampanga for 19 years, working to uplift his community. With his wife, he supported all seven of their children through university and specialized training.

The MRN Grant carries that belief forward. It funds A2K Group's OJT and internship program so that students can build real skills, gain experience, and become leaders in their own right.

What the grant gives you

Every MRN intern works on real projects with a mentor, and qualified interns receive financial support.

  • Financial support

Qualified interns receive MRN Grant support, so cost isn't a barrier to real experience.

  • A dedicated mentor

A senior team member in your track guides you through the whole internship.

  • Real projects

Work that ships to real users and belongs in your portfolio.

  • A workable schedule

We coordinate with your school's OJT calendar and class schedule.

  • Workshops

Sessions that build technical and soft skills alongside your project work.

  • Room to grow

Top interns may move on to the EBET Apprenticeship or be considered for roles after graduation.

Becoming an MRN intern

Six steps from application to certificate, and an optional next step for top interns.

  1. Step 1: Apply

  4. Step 4: Onsite technical assessment

Final candidates complete a hands-on assessment in their chosen track at our office.

  5. Step 5: Onboarding and internship

You're paired with a mentor and join a team on real projects, with weekly check-ins to keep you on track for your school's required hours.

  6. Step 6: Completion

You receive a certificate of completion, a performance evaluation for your school, and a letter of recommendation where applicable.

  7. Next step for top interns: TESDA–A2K EBET Apprenticeship
